Default 2018 Passenger Predictions For YEG

With January coming to a close and coming off two straight days of new route and frequency announcements it might be a good time to prognosticate on what the total passenger numbers might look like for the terminal in 2018.

As in past years we will do terminal numbers only (excluding fbo). Please keep keep a gap between other guesses of at least 25k. Let's set a deadline of January 6th so that everyone can get guesses in before January numbers are posted.

For reference 2017 terminal numbers ended up at 7,377,630. This was what had been posted although it looks like December numbers have been removed from the site as of posting this.

Weren't we a fraction shy of 8 million in 2017?

With the economy still recovering and new routes (plus an ULCC with another to come), I'll go out on a limb and predict 8.1 million.

2014 passenger numbers were 8.2 millions including FBO. Terminal traffic was 7.3 millions and that is what we are guessing.

    And the winner is....

    etownboarder - 7,819,000

    Congrats!
