^Chapters should close, along with a Starbucks within it. Overpriced both!

Starbucks is almost "passe" these days anyways....Though having said that I will hit the one in Madrid across from the Intercontinental at the end of the month because it will be across the street from our hotel. At least I know what to expect in regards to "product" when a person is overseas.
Just like watching the protesters in Athens bomb the large 2 story Starbucks around last November on the news that we had dropped by into 2008. Hopefully no repeats like that since the economy in Spain is sliding down the pipes too. The best Starbucks when I was still in Vancouver used to be on Denman about 3 blocks back from the water but it closed out sometime around 2003 and eventually became a furniture store. They also had a tiny one across from a hugely popular independent one on Denman across from Vancouver's favourite west end coffee shop that was jammed with guys relaxing and chatting. While the Starbucks across Denman was always dead. That was (i'm sure) the quietest Starbucks on the planet back then ......it eventually became a "cupcake" store...LOL.
