Hello folks,

This might be kindof silly but I cant stay jeansless anymore :-D

Does anyone here knows a place to shop for affordable men's jeans? My sizes are lil bit unsual. I am thin(30W) and tall(36L) and it is not easy for me find these sizes together. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome!

Cannot say I really know where to buy jeans as I don't own a pair but I would suggest Marks Work Wearhouse (there are many stores around the Edmonton area) or Levi's (I know there is one in West Edmonton Mall).

The department stores like the Bay, Sear or WalMart carry jeans I am sure but the selection might not be as varied.

I am also sure that someone on C2E will chime in with some other suggestions too!

Cheers,

Thanks for those quick ones....
But I am specifically looking for the stores that sell a variety of sizes than the usual ones. Any 'online ordering website' will work for me too.
Thanks again!

Check out Army and Navy... they seem to get a lot of
unusual sizes in, and at good prices.

Diesel makes long inseam jean. Try ebay to score a deal.

A great looking pair of jeans that fits is worth the $$ : )

a lot of places like leChateau sell jeans and other pants by waist size. then you take them to get hemed to your size (lengthwise)

I'm tall and skinny too (although not as skinny as you  ) and I always get my jeans at Costco. I think they're $30.

Gotta agree with you here. Having a 30 inch waistline makes it really hard to shop for pants. Mark's might have some but they cater mostly to 30x30's. MY 30x32 pant size leaves me empty handed when going shopping too.

I am not tall, but I am as slim as you are. I love Zara's in West Ed for their clothing in general and they do carry jeans (and their clothing seems to fit pretty well for people with our body shape). Might want to give them a try. H&M might also be another decent place.

There's "The Jeans outlet" (I think that's what it's called) in the south on Calgary Trail just before 34 Ave. It's in the same plaza as Office Depot, Canadian Tire, etc. We recently got awesome Levi's for $50. They have a variety of sizes and various brands.

Growing up as a very skinny guy in my teens, it wasn't that easy finding the jean sizes I wanted. In my late teens, I had a waist as thin as 26, yet my length was 32-34! But these days, my waist is a bit bigger, so jean-hunting isn't as bad as it used to be. :-D
