EDMONTON - The City of Edmonton is redirecting money to river valley trails and bridges from parks in other areas, but one councillor worries the move will leave his constituents with less green space.

The plan to defer or reassign about $20 million in spending includes delaying overhauls to Dawson and Bonnie Doon parks, along with postponing construction of new parks in Windermere and McConachie.
