Should there be a social issues section?

A place to discuss matters such as homelessness, children's services, etc.

It seems a lot of these discussions get buried in other threads which is a shame

MOD EDIT - changed the title...

Yeah, I just noticed that myself. It does seem like something that doesn't fit elsewhere at the moment.

We can look at that soon. We will want moderators for it though as this type of forum can easily become...shall we say....too passionate? ;)

I will definitely volunteer to moderate this type of forum…

Yes, I can sometimes be too “passionate” and opinionated on some of my personal “hot button” topics but I always respect others opinions and viewpoints. “I may be straight but I am not narrow (minded).” Let’s just say that sometimes I like to play devils advocate and throw topics out just to gauge the response.

You weren't refering to me were you? I'll try taking up Japanese Tea Ceremony. That ought to tranquilise me a few notches... Should I get back to you after the decade or so that it takes to really get a handle on it?
