ALCB approved the project and licenses in March. Takes time to complete design and construction as you know. But if the rendering on their FB Page is any indication, the track building looks almost prefab and built on the cheap. https://www.facebook.com/centurymile/

Noise levels for each of the runways at YEG, as per Nav Canada.

I see 2 things going on here. The LRT connecting to the EIA and the Cannabis production plant operation being built there.
There is more than that going on there: horse track, casino and another hotel. More shopping. When hell freezes over we may get another flight.

Only if there's a retail outlet at the plant. Seems like a long way to go to get weed (not that I indulge)

If they run a bus for the cannabis workers they could call it the 420

I worked in Leduc, and really never heard the planes. I guess you get used to it

Leduc should set up toll roads on way out to airport to pay for infrastructure improvements

Leduc County and the City of Leduc share a 1 percent levy paid annually on the value of improvements at the airport. It is a significant and growing sum. It appears that the City of Edmonton has negotiated for 4 years and has secured nothing.

Willow Park estate in Leduc is well within 2km of the end of a runway at EIA - has been for nigh on 40 years. Jets are around <3,000 ft at that point.
