  • Thinking and Acting Like a Region

    Free Lecture and Webinar

How might planners better negotiate the many jurisdictions associated with today’s regional scale of planning? Ian Wight from the University of Manitoba’s City Planning Department will discuss how to make sense of 'the regional' and offer ways of cultivating regional culture. Panelist Doug Parrish from Cold Lake will present his perspective on the Lower Athabasca Regional Plan and APPI President Beth Sanders will synthesize the two presentations. The panel will conclude with a Q&A.

Those unable to attend are encouraged to participate online as the event will be broadcast live. When you register (link below) please note whether you will be attending in person, or as an online participant.
