          1) go easy on spending
          2) slow down on urban sprawl, focus on developing on empty lands all over the city.
          3) built arena and finish on time before the deadline.
          4) get rid of eyesore everywhere such as Arlington.
          5) need to built 2 more bridges , one in the east and west end to cut down traffic congestion.
          6) fix drainage system.

I guess that is all I can think of.

            - Secure funding for LRT (Southeast; West)
            - Development of downtown entertainment district
            - Assist EIA in whatever way possible in securing additional European flights
            - Assist EEDC in promoting Edmonton as a place to live, work, and invest in

One thing I'd like to see our city do more of is promoting our city to outsiders. We have a lot of great things going on, and I think Edmonton would do well to marketing towards the rest of Canada.

^I agree and would tweak it by having a decent % of marketing to our local population. 1.2 million people that can spread by word of mouth to their friends and family and professional contacts all over the world as well as increase awareness and pride of everything Edmonton. Edmonton Tourism does very little to none of this type of marketing. Even just marketing directly to the foreign students at the U of A and Grant Mac would likely have a much better ROI in terms of Edmonton awareness compared to the fragmented strategy now employed that is not overly effective.
