I never said that. What have you done to close the facilities?

Both you and I were among the first to call them concentration camps.

Now they are using it as a concentration camp for southern refugees including children.

TIL that requiring proof or substantiating a claim is a liberal-only requirement.

Thanks for admitting you just make it up as you go along, like most of the pants-on-head alt-right conservatives. Who needs facts when you have feelings?
alt-right conservatives have feelings??? Who knew?

They have only feeling in their viagra addled brains and only care about guns and the unborn white fetuses.

Brown children are sent to concentration camps.

2/3rds of the cobalt comes from Democratic Republic of Congo.

Then I asked her if she was willing to give up her cell phone and laptop?

We are all tainted by such issues. You can't get your organic bananas without them being shipped on a Saudi bunker C guzzling, refrigerated ship and then by tar sands derived diesel trucks.

I see the hypocrisy of my actions so I don't throw stones at David Suzuki when he charters a helicopter to fly over the tar sands.

      We are all guilty.

I wrote an email to my MLA last night regarding AIMCo & their profiting from human misery. I also ensure that I avoid companies that utilize private prison labour, just like I avoid buying clothes made in sweatshops. As a Canadian my ability to affect American policy is extremely limited, but I took the steps I could.

As Faithless once opined "inaction is a weapon of mass destruction".

So the basic defence of this investment is "Nobody is perfect so nobody should even try"

^wow, after all that spouting, all you did is wrote an email. I was expecting to hear you marched around downtown with placards, or standing on a soap box outside city centre mall.

OK, if what they say is true (Easy enough to have a subsidiary that is at arms length to hide involvement.) then the Topic title is still true.

Geo Group Inc. has come under fire from authorities for improper segregation of immigrants and inadequate medical care in some of its facilities.

                ---

The Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo), which manages many public sector pensions and other government funds, has shares in both GEO Group and CoreCivic worth a total of about $4.8 million, as of March 31, according to its filings.

In regards to the AIMCo story that broke yesterday, yes all I've done is send an email. In terms of avoiding private prisons, conflict raw materials & third world sweatshops, I've done my best for a number of years on multiple fronts. I do my best to be as conscious as possible in my consumption to avoid lining the pockets of those who profiteer via human misery.
