  • DECL - Fall RGM - Nov 19, 2015

Join us for another General Meeting for DECL members. We will be getting together to discuss the on-going business of the league and downtown issues at large.

    Thursday, November 19, 2015
    6:30 pm - Registration & refreshments
    7:00 pm - Meeting
DECL Community Space (10042 103 Street)

It's your chance to find out what's going on in your community, share your thoughts, questions, and ideas, and meet your neighbours!

Representatives from Edmonton Public Library will be on hand to discuss upcoming evolution of the Stanley A. Milner Library. Boyle Street Community Services will also be discussing the services they provide and potential expansion plans.

We will also be presenting updated bylaws for DECL. Small text changes were made to the bylaws of 2012 to conform with requirements set out by Service Alberta. Updating these bylaws will allow us to apply for further funding opportunities such as a casino license. Please check our website for further information at decl.org

$5 2015-2016 DECL Memberships will be available at the door. Light refreshments & cash bar will be available.

I had a great time meeting with everything last night! Lots of issues facing downtown but I saw alot of enthusiasm, intelligence, and energy in that room. I may be new to downtown but I look forward to seeing the core grow and become a world city; and I look forward to being apart of it with you guys and girls.

              Cheers,
              Steve
There was no need to change that plaque. We are the City of Champions.
