  • 104 Street Advisory Committee Information Meeting - April 8

The 104th Street Steering Committee is proud to host our second community information meeting. Please join us on April 8th, 2015 for an evening with Barbara Ursuliak from the City of Edmonton presenting on 104th Street’s Accreditation into the Purple Flag program and how it will affect both residents and businesses on 104th Street; discussions with EPS and their presence on our street; and Scott McKeen, our ward 6 City Councillor, and Chris Buyze, president of DECL, who will update us on the upcoming growth and development of our downtown.

Once again, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn what is happening on our street and find out how it impacts you as a resident.

If you are a resident you need to be here. This event is open to all interested community members including business owners, condo boards, residents and anyone who has an interest in 104th street.

Presentations from Barb Ursuliak of CoE regarding the Purple Flag program to be unveiled for 104 Street. Can read more about Purple Flag here -

Presentation from EPS Downtown Division was quite fascinating. Lots of changes going on with that division as arena district develops. See some of @DECLorg tweets on that evening for context. DECL will be inviting them to do a similar presentation at our May 12 AGM if you want to see it again.

Presentation from Councillor McKeen on highlights of the Capital Budget, and update from yours truly on DECL/community matters.

If you missed this meeting, some similar information will be presented again at our May 12 AGM.
