Cherry Coke!

Not everyone's favorite but I enjoy Cherry Coke from time to time...

It has not been available in Canada for sometime except for the occasional specialty shop bringing it in.

I was extremely excited to see it is now available at Lucky 97 being imported from England. It was a bit tricky to find but they have several flats available at the front checkout!!!

I have been told they will continue to import it as long as the demand keeps up.

Awesome-sauce!! Last time my bro and his girlfriend went to the states I had them stop at costco on the way back and get me some. 4x12packs didn't last long.

Like coke with a cherry undertone, not over powering at all.

Used to be available in Canada for many years but the local bottling companies phased it out due to lack of demand.

It's however popular south of the border and just about everywhere else in the world!!!

I may have tried it before but can't remember. Specialty pop doesn't seem to do well around here. Vanilla Coke and Crystal Pepsi come to mind.

I wonder if one of the problems with cherry coke marketing here was the product taking longer to get here originally and it seemed like all these alternative pop experiments and the New Coke were happening all around the same timeframe. From my perspective in this market it just seemed that all the consumer reaction sounded like just bring back the original coke and maybe Coca Cola generalized from that that Canadians just wanted Original formula and that's it when in fact the distaste was for the new coke or vanilla coke yech! Never had any specific dislike for the Cherry Coke.
