            It's very true. To have that type of business right in the middle of the city is extremely convenient for that company. It is just unfortunate regarding the area. I'm pretty sure that if that land became available it would be scooped up and built upon very quickly.
            LRT is our future, time to push forward.

                    • I have lived near the concrete plant for decades and have no problem with it remaining in its present location.

                      Funny thing about noise. Continuous and constant noise is much easier to tune out than the occasional noise that blares from the public address system at Clarke Stadium or the sharp piercing noise from a motorcycle going down Stadium Road.

                      • ^ Try living along 137th Ave between Victoria Trail and 50th street in the summer. Emergency response vehicles Police etc tear up and down here half a dozen times a day.
                        Mom said I should not talk to cretins!
