EDMONTON - A national conservation group is working to create its most expensive protected area in the Edmonton region.

The Nature Conservancy of Canada has until next January to complete a $13- million deal to buy a 250-hectare section of hills, old-growth trees and wetlands being called the Bunchberry Meadows Conservation Area.
Excellent news, and note that the families who own the land agreed to sell the properties for half its appraised value. Also note that the non-profit group has until January to find $4million to pay for it.
