    Well that maybe the least worst outcome.

    the problem is that people reuse passwords. While gaining access to post as you on c2e might not be a big deal, and frankly maybe an improvement, they also have your email address and if you like many, youve used that same password on your email or other places which opens up your risk further.

    i would assume if they had access to change forum.php they had access to the database as well...

          I thought I inadvertently downloaded some malware. I had a minor freakout and checked my apps/programs to see if there was a strange file.

          Nice to know the malware was on C2E's end.....unless maybe I inadvertently downloaded some malware by clicking on C2E!
