(The exact closing date for voting is yet to be determined.) C2E’s designated Contest Administrator's computer is the official time keeping device for the contest.

    Deadline Extension:
Please note, that due to partner advertising commitments, this photo contest will continue to run until October 31, 2008. Please take advantage of this extended deadline (and the warm fall weather we have been having) for additional outdoor photo opportunities!

    2. Each month during the Contest Period, a random draw will be made by a representative of C2E from all eligible entries received up to the date of the monthly draw. The random draw will determine the monthly winner (one entrant will be selected per month) and the selected photograph will be featured on connect2edmonton. The Contest Committee reserves the right to refuse to feature a selected photograph where, in the opinion of the Contest Committee, the photograph is objectionable or otherwise unsuitable. Prizes have no cash value unless otherwise stated. See Prizing details. >>

    3. Representatives from the Contest Committee will select up to 100 Finalist Photographs (number per category may vary) from all eligible entries received and shall post the Finalist Photographs on connect2edmonton. Judging will be at the sole discretion of the Contest Committee, based on their assessment of the photographs which best capture ‘‘life in Edmonton.’’ The ruling of the Contest Committee judges is final and without appeal in all matters related to the promotion and the awarding of prizes.

During the online voting, visitors to the C2E website will be invited to cast one (1) vote for a Finalist Photograph in each category the voter feels best represents the theme ‘‘Uniquely Edmonton’’ within the confines of the category, and one (1) vote for a grand-prize winner. Each visitor may vote a total of eleven (11) times. At midnight on November 2008 (exact date yet to be determined), the finalist photograph with the highest number of votes will be declared the final grand-prize winner, and the finalist photograph in each category with the next highest number of votes will be declared category winners. In case of a tie, the Contest Committee in its sole discretion will select the grand-prize winner based upon the photograph they deem best represents the theme ‘Uniquely Edmonton.’ Winners will be notified by e-mail.
