Yeah, Project Veritas source is credible. Probably a plant from the Trump campaign.

      debunk it?

it's very damning? it's not very damning, it's damned hilarious.

unless kyle jurek is bernie sanders in cognito or kyle jurek happens to be running for the democratic nomination for president or bernie sanders somehow picks him as the vice presidential candidate if bernie wins the nomination, this is about as investigative as pd live.

regardless of what you might think of bernie sanders and his platform, he does have approximately 1,000,000 americans volunteering on his campaign. do you really expect us to believe that every one of those volunteers - including the occasional nut-ball - has the right to speak for bernie sanders and be believed?

that would be no different than thinking that every nut-ball trump supporter is in fact speaking for trump, something i'm sure you would attribute to left-wing false news in a heartbeat so as not to sully your candidate.

investigative journalism? project veritas? really??? https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/project-veritas

O’Keefe’s videos are edited in a way that makes them difficult to fact check. Often his information is debunked, but it is too late as the information has already been watched by thousands or more. In general, the narrative created by O’Keefe, whether edited or not is to portray liberals in a negative light...

Overall, we rate Project Veritas Right Biased based on story selection that only favors the right and Mixed for factual reporting due to lack of sourcing and a few failed fact checks. (11/16/2016) Updated (D. Van Zandt 8/24/2019).

anything else you need debunked this afternoon?

          • Lev Parnas documents released.

House Democrats provide new evidence of Giuliani's push to meet with Zelensky

House Democrats unveiled new evidence Tuesday that they plan to send to the Senate as part of their case to remove President Donald Trump from office, providing text messages and hand-written notes from an indicted Rudy Giuliani associate that add more details about the push for Ukraine to announce an investigation against Trump's political rivals.

The documents show how the associate, Lev Parnas, sought to set up a meeting between Giuliani and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and connect with members of his government. The records also add more details about the push by Giuliani to seek the ouster of the then-US ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch.

The House Intelligence Committee pored through the reams of material provided by Parnas as they prepared for Trump's Senate impeachment trial, and the transition of the material to the Senate suggests House Democrats may cite the documents while presenting their case. Joseph Bondy, Parnas' attorney, hand-delivered the contents of an iPhone to the Intelligence panel's staff over the weekend.

The House panel made some of the documents that Parnas provided public on Tuesday, including a letter from Giuliani to then-President-elect Zelensky requesting a meeting as the President's personal attorney, as well as text messages that show Parnas' communications with members of Zelesnky's aides where he pursued a meeting between Zelensky and Giuliani and provided negative information about former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden.

The documents also include a hand-written note on stationary from the Ritz-Carlton in Vienna, Austria, that Bondy said was written by his client, which says: "get Zalensky (sic) to Annonce (sic) that the Biden case will Be Investigated." There are also cryptic text messages suggesting that Yovanovitch's movements were being tracked.

            • Yeah, the President was so concerned about corruption in Ukraine, he sent his personal lawyer there to meet with the president-elect.

Giuliani letter proves Ukraine scheme was about helping Trump personally and was not in the public interest

The letter was from Giuliani to Volodymyr Zelensky and was dated May 10th — after Zelensky won the election on April 21st, but before he was sworn in on May 20th.

In the letter, Giuliani makes clear that he is working for Trump’s personal benefit, not the United States.

“I am private counsel to President Donald J. Trump. Just to be precise, I represent him as a private citizen, not as President of the United States,” Giuliani wrote. “This is quite common under American law because the duties and privileges of a President and a private citizen are not the same.”

“Separate representation is usual process,” Giuliani claimed.

Trump’s lawyer went on to request a meeting prior to Zelensky being sworn-in, in his “capacity as personal counsel to President Trump and with his knowledge and consent.”

Most journalists are not objective people who tell the public the whole story. People would be wise to show some skepticism whenever they read the "news" instead of blindly trusting it all and believing they know the whole story.
^This post is something that would be used in a journalism class as an example of terrible argument. No support and a clearly biased viewpoint. I took Broadcast Journalism post-secondary, and your characterization of journalism students, professors, and journalists is laughably inaccurate. Editorial slant certainly exists, and can be easily accounted for by people with critical thinking skills, but inaccuracy from top outlets is overwhelmingly the exception.

                    • While I appreciate the point the cartoonist is trying to make, I think he might be misunderstanding TR's maxim. The Big Stick refers to a powerful military, which is supposed to back up the overall moderate foreign policy represented by "walking softly".

I don't believe you. And I wasn't making an argument, I was making an observation.

And I will continue to believe what I see with my own eyes, and not just blindly believe what someone tells me. I noticed the socialist bias from the arts students and arts classes (that I was mandated to take for my degree) back during my undergrad.

It's obscene that liberal arts students deny it exists and deny that liberal fluff if touted as fact. I think journalists (like the vast majority of people) are so thoroughly tainted with it that they don't notice it and are too afraid to admit that they were being brainwashed.

This nut ball is not a volunteer - he is a paid organizer, an employee of Bernie's campaign.

I understand that you mistrust anything not broadcast on legacy media new channels or newspapers, but why should anyone blindly trust the opinion of mediabiasfactcheck.com ?

That is an honest question. It's just a website that gives its opinion on what they think of different news outlets. But why do you think they are an authority on the subject?

Actually the extremist Bernie Sanders Campaign staffer who got arrested for DUI and drug charges is the fool.

These are the dangerous extremists that the left NEVER disavows or disassociates from. Conservatives rightly distance themselves from far-right psychopaths.

Until the left draws the line and does the same to their own, they are the true danger to our freedoms and our free and tolerant society.
