  • I'm proud to be Edmontonian because...

... the summers here are spectacular
... I will be taken care of if I get sick regardless of my wealth
... the Winspear is one of the premier music venues in North America
... there are so many support systems for small businesses that give me every reason to succeed

Because i'm a sports fan above all and Edmonton is clearly the greatest sport city in Canada and one of the best in the world for it's size.

It sounds silly, but there is something almost magical about those late night sunsets. Some of the most relaxing times at the cabin are tee times at 8:00 for a quick 9, getting back to the cabin and then lighting the bonfire and watching a 11:15 sunset.

It is the little things isn't it? This weekend, I can't count the number of people who decided they wanted to be good people and help get each other out of a rut (literally). I didn't really have to help because every time I was going to, there were already 2 or 3 people there.

The best one for me is thatwe are a small yet major city, we arent over run with too much of anything. People in general are friendly (unless its Jasper Ave at 3 am) and respectful.
