Default Old Calgary C Train in Edmonton

I just saw an old Calgary C Train (I think 3 cars) parked on the LRT siding just south of 66 street. Itís painted in their original colours. Does anyone know what itís doing in Edmonton? Did ETS buy some old C Trains? I would think the old C Trains would have tons of miles on them due to the size of Calgaryís system.
    Thanks

Maybe for some very early testing?

Not sure. Calgary got rid of their old C-Trains for whatever reason, while Edmonton continues to get good mileage out of its trains from 1978.

Maybe Calgary induced some Edmonton Transportation big-brains to move south?

Maybe it'll be dismantled for parts. It's not uncommon, especially since refurbished trains often have components or even entire assemblies that are still in good condition.
