You have to dream big. If we want to be a little city, we dream small. If we want to be a big city, we dream big, and this is a big idea. - Mayor Stephen Mandel, 02/22/2012

By typical political standards this would be considered good attendance. I dunno, sometimes its competing engagements, once in awhile conflict of interests or disinterests.

The explanations for missing meetings seems pretty valid. I don't think theres any real news here.

Does seem to be some keeners though that show up all the time or that fill in their own attendance sheets haha.

I mean who's keeping track? Is this self divulged attendance or obtained from minutes?

I went there first. Then decided it was more appropriate here.

    missing up to 16%???

that means that attendance at a minimum is 84% or better?

when you think about it, given all the legitimate reasons to miss any particular meeting for personal or illness or conflicting work commitments including travel etc., a minimum attendance of 84% or better is pretty good.

id be more concerned about the quality of their performance during that 84% than i would about the missing 16%.
