Default Should all Albertans have a say in the Olympic bid?

I believe all Albertans should have voted on the Olympic bid. If successful, Calgary is going to receive billions of dollars in tax money for a variety of infrastructure projects. The city of Calgary and it citizens are going to benefit greatly and to a much smaller extent the rest of Alberta. I would have liked to have I input, as so much of OUR tax money is at stake. What do the rest of you think?
