    Not sure why this map is labelled by Ian as July 2018.

    It is this map that IanO refers to as July 2018

    @ianoyeg
    Alex Decoteau should be highlighted. Neat though.

    ^ why ?

    Alex Decoteau is neither new, proposed nor rumoured... unless "new" is interpreted as anything built or being built recently - would have to add many map items...

    I suppose. Being only a year old though I think itís worth putting on there as new park space.

    If you're alluding to how important the park is, I'm all in - I see it out my windows every day and it's a jewel - hey, even the community garden appears to be working !

    But the "central whse district park" is also shown and it is far down the road most likely. To keep the map comprehend-able, I think it's got to be primarily forward looking.

    Yup. Definitely fair.

    The LRT coming down the street makes me wanna sell (assuming noise will be a problem), but the park makes me wanna stay! Itís all pretty exciting for a guy who invested downtown and has seen his values drop every year for the entire time lol.

    The LRT will be short term pain / long term gain. I'm sure it's arrival (and a general economic recovery) will turn around (y)our property values...

    We will see! My concern is actually the interval noise of the LRT upon completion. Iím only 7 feet off the ground so the train will be passing right by my place. I donít really know how loud a 30kph train is while moving straight lol

    I'm pretty confident that these new LRVs will be quieter than regular car traffic, let alone the illegally loud vehicles that we seem powerless to stop around here. With the reduced car traffic on 102 Ave., it will likely become *quieter* than before.

    It depends on what kind of curve they install on 107 street. If it is a tight 90^ it will squeal quite a bit.

    Iím south facing but I have a buffer unit between me and the West wall. The curve doesnít concern me so much as the straight way running noise.

    However, Iím sure itíll be better than constant traffic and 3 AM snowplows. So give take?

    Sorry for derailing your guysí thread lol.
