Default What national parks have you visited? What's next?

Can you list the Canadian national parks you've been in (or haven't been in).

Which ones are on your; 'Must see before I die' list?

Here is a list. There aren't that many.

Only ones I have been too are Banff, Jasper, Glacier, Elk Island, Waterton, Kooteney and Yoho, if driving through one counts (might have been to Rouge, not sure). Only really stayed in Jasper, Waterton and Banff. They are all pretty nice.

Pretty much all of them in AB/BC, and none elsewhere. I should probably try heading East one of these days just to change things up. Nahanni is high up on the list as well.

Top_Dawg was just a pup, but from what he recalls, Thousand Islands was pretty awesome.

BTW, the website where you go to get the free parks passes this year has a link to enter for a 5-day trip to a park in Newfoundland, and I assume all the others.

Don't everyone go enter all at once though - I want to hold the illusion that I might win a little longer...

    More than I'd realised:

    1. Elk Island
    2. Jasper
    3. Banff
    4. Kootenay
    5. Yoho
    6. Glacier
    7. Waterton
    8. Revelstoke
    9. Pacific Rim
    10. Fundy
    11. Cape Breton Highlands
    12. Kejimkujik
    13. Bruce Peninsula
    14. Georgian Islands
    15. Grasslands
    16. Prince Albert

    (Sorted alphabetically by province.)

Want to go to Nahani as well, and Pukaskwa, Gros Morne, and Forillon. And Quttinirpaaq, but whom am I trying to kid.

Likewise, except for Gwaii Haanas and Wood Buffalo, and I don't think I've ever actually stopped in Glacier, just driven through many times.

    Jasper and Banff, obviously.
    Elk Island
Kootenay, but only to the Radium Hot Springs pools.
    Waterton
Passed through Yoho and Glacier many times, never really stopped

All that I can remember is Banff and Jasper on various occassions, and if, as per SDM, the Radium Hot Spring pools are in Kootenay, then I think I've been there. I'm guessing I would have been to Elk Island at least once, but possibly not.

Might have passed through a few others, but nothing that I can remember.

^one mountain looks like another after a while, be it in Canada / US or somewhere else. Some of the parks out East look a little different per that list / might be interesting to visit.
