I cannot wait to see it break the 12-14 storey barrier and redefine the area.

They've completed the Oliver/J22 and Enbridge Place. They're somewhat new (nearly 10 years old at this point, actually), but their people have a lot of experience working for other developers, contractors etc. Kevin McKee is the principal, and came from WAM/One. They partner with John Day on most of their projects.

It is a guaranteed a few will rise such as 'Emerald and CNIB' for this year. There are other rental towers that could potentially start late this year or early next year.

Any idea what floor she is on now?

Not at all... lots of workers/work happening there, but it is the podium which means much slower than typical tower floors.

Augustana Tower - another week or two for the podium and then on to typical floor plates. Looking forward to a new view from my place.

Great view! you should approach them about setting up a construction cam and link it to the the their website. The world needs more construction cams, maybe it's just me but seeing it all happen kind of builds excitement for the final outcome.

To think, right in the centre area of that picture, there are enough spaces for another 6 to 8 condo towers that could easily fit right into that picture. One could most likely fit more than 8 towers in that small captured paradigm. As much as I have seen how much we have constructed since around 2000, that truly puts it in a further perspective and how much more we have to battle for downtown.

The views there are surprisingly good at 17/30, let alone the 20s.

I reviewed the floor plans as well. A nice mix between high 400s-1330 (3bdrm) or so, with most 600-900.

The lobby, rooftop amenity/patio, storage, and rentable suite/private dinning room is very tempting I must say....
