Default Donation of books and toys

Hi,

I'm looking for a charity on the South side where I can drop off some
books and toys.

The books are kids ( 2-4yr old) books and the toys are ok and could
be used by some kids or a hospital.

I'd hate to just dump this stuff. I'd like to do this on Saturday as my
car is full.

I can give it to any organization, I have no preference.

Any ideas,
Thx.

Try calling the Elizabeth Fry Society @ 780) 421-1175 they will likely be able to link you to or provide a suggestion of a suitable charity

Elizabeth Fry Society is a great organization. I was lucky enough to get to do some volunteer work with them a few years ago after taking a class on "Women, Crime & Society" at MacEwan. Definitely a good organization to support...

There are the interfaith thrift store drop centres. I only know where the ones BonnieDoon, Westmount and 107th ave are, but I am sure there are some in the south. They are open business hours and you just go in, they will even unload the stuff for you.
