Default Edmonton Eye disease conference needs volunteers

The Foundation Fighting Blindness, Canada's largest registered charity for sight-saving research, is seeking volunteers for its Vision Quest Conference in Edmonton. The conference takes place on October 13th, 2012 at the University of Alberta's Lister Centre. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist either in the morning, from 7:30am- 11:30pm, in the afternoon, from 11:30pm to 4:30pm, or both. Volunteer responsibilities will include: welcoming and registering guests, guiding and assisting visually impaired participants. Refreshments will be available to volunteers.
