Accountant?

I am embarking on setting up a small business, and would like some recommendations for a good accountant that can help me in terms of:

- Reviewing financial statements of a company that I'm interested in buying
- Tell me the steps in setting up a corporation
- Other advice needed for a newbie entrepreneur

You could always look in the Yellow Pages. If you find someone you would like to hire you could always call the Better Business Bureau to make sure there are no complaints registered. Another option is to call the agency that oversees accountants and explain to them what you want.
Sorry, it's a bit vague but I do not know anyone personally.

My accountant is good, he has helped me with my business and did my first return plus helped some of my family as well. He didn't help with the purchase, I was with a different accountant in Calgary at the time, but I'm sure he could help you with that too. IM me if you would like his number.

Currently I am an accounting student at NAIT. I would like to help but I do not think I am good enough. Just wish you luck and hope everything is ok.
