Good idea except no covering. First rain that hits in and any books inside will become paper mache! Still a good idea.

Didn't EPL have a couple of book vending machines placed at LRT stops? I wonder how that went?

EPL does indeed still have the vending machine at Century Park. Everyone has loved it!
And this is a great idea, something similar is offered at the Downtown Milner branch with our old paperbacks. Someone without a library card is welcome to take one from this small discarded collection.
