What a great message and program! Much more of this messaging could be done and what great results could come from it.

Like many of my generation , I wanted to be an astronaut as a child . The difference being is that I did not and people like Chris Hadfield and the others did . This is against a background of us not even having a space program at the time . It seemed impossible , but it did not stop the likes of our astronauts to maintain the passion in pursuing and preparing and then succeeding in living their dream.

I have no regrets however, and I have adopted putting vision and passion into my career path even at middle age . It has made all the difference.

I hope the talk inspires many. Who know how far they can go?
