Default Relocating to Edmonton

Hi
I will shortly be relocating to Edmonton from Toronto where I have been lving as a new immigrant for the past 2 months.
I will be working in Nisku and need to find an apartment somewhere that is close to public transport and shopping, restaurants, bank etc. as I do not have a drivers license as yet. What is the best transit option to commute to Nisku? What is the rental for a 1 bed apartment.
Could anyone please advise where is the best area to live that has these conveniences for a newcomer?
Appreciate your advise, thanks
Mel

Might have a tough time getting to nisku without a drivers licence, I don't believe there is much for public transport out there. If you have a way to get there already, I would consider anywhere on the southside of Edmonton. Certain parts of Millwoods might be cheaper options for you.

There is no public transit to Nisku.
If you moved to Leduc you could at least walk, but it would be a bit of a hike.

Ah. My bad. Okay. There is one stop in Nisku served by one bus that has horrible frequency.

Rental for a 1 bedroom can range from $600-1000/month depending on age of building and location. Public transit to Nisku is difficult. The C-Line is the only way to get from Edmonton to Nisku.
