The two pics of "Spiderman" climbing the fence are excellent. Better than the pictures in the newspapers. You were at a bang-on spot.

Any pics of the NASCAR crash after Turn 2? I know you were a little farther.

I was working turn 3 when Steckly's car came right at us after pinballing off another car. We ran for cover with only a second to react. We couldn't find any vids or pics of us.

I'm happy to report that a Race Week Edmonton spin-off event, Angie Pontani's Burlesque-A-Pades 2012 Live at the Roxy, was a sell-out, with a VERY enthusiastic audience.

Angie Pontani was terrific, and Murray Hill was the perfect host. Delia Barnett did a bang-up job promoting the event, and this year we included some excellent local performers (LeTabby Lexington, Holly Von Sinn, Capital City Burlesque, plus one from Calgary, Raven Virginia), and they really did a great job. We also included a well attended workshop with Angie.

This event wouldn't exist except for the support of Race Week Edmonton, who produced the first one last year, and included us on their events page this year. No them, no us. Big thanks to Ken, Richard, Dean, and the rest of the Race Week Edmonton crew for their support.

The photos aren't great, but you get the idea. We're already working on making next year's event bigger and better.
