Default New Bike Repair Shop in McCauley

This sounds like a great use of a space on 111th Ave as well as to get skills and pride going. Bicycle Commuters in my mind are one of those many unsung groups in Edmonton that do a lot of great work with little fanfair.

Definitely an unsung hero in the community.

I've used their shop in the past and they were incredibly helpful (also super busy on a very rainy day). The only downside in the past was that they only had 1 shop and it was south of the river. The 2nd location should be very successful in this community.

Kudos to EBC!

Cheap bike parts walking distance from my house instead of across the river. I like it!

I'll be a member for sure. I tried to go there once before, but they were far enough away that it wasn't convenient. Now they will be just a couple block detour from my commute. Awesome.

I intend to go to the southside Edmonton Bicycle Commuters this spring to purchase a refurbished bike.

Great to hear! A second location is much needed.

The Edmonton Journal link in OP returns a "Not Found" for me so in case anyone doesn't know, here is the Edmonton Bicycle Commuters website:
www.edmontonbikes.ca

I can't sing their praises loud enough; they are a great addition to the city! I'm very happy to hear about a second shop that is closer to my house than the original one.
