Default History Trivia Question Needs Answer

Hi!

I came across the "remember when" on this site and was just amazed!

Here's a question I've wanted an answer to for years. Please try to help me. I even have a long thread going on my FB page over this.

Back in the 60s, there was a TV show on Saturday afternoons for 1 hour where it showed a dance floor full of teens dancing to rock music. It may have been hosted by someone from CHED? Anyways, it had Go-Go dancers as a big feature of the show and the Go-Go dancers danced on these raised blocks in the corners I think. We are dying to know the name of that show! It probably was on CFRN? We're giving up. What was that show? Who hosted it?

Thank you if you can solve this decades long mystery!

Randy

The show I remember was on ITV (now Global) called Disco Daze, hosted by Chuck Chandler, who I also believe interviewed John and Oko in the Montreal hotel room during their "bed in" , in the early 70's.

I'm old enough to remember that there were a whole bunch of these programs. They constituted their own genre.

It was on from Sept. 15, '66 to some time in '67. It had Go-Go dancers. Hosted by Robbie Lane, Mike Darrow, and Bill Cudmore as "Wicked William". All kinds of guest stars and guest dancers too! CTV production. A friend of mine nailed it and then I Googled the name and yup! I'm 52, not that old at all, really. Just well experienced.
