Fionn MacCool's Irish pub chain in Edmontoin
Fionn MacCool's has taken over the Dalton's restaurant inside the Holiday Inn on Calgary Trail and Whitemud. It is owned by Prime Pubs, which has other locations across Canada.

^I don't know, isn't it a chain? There is a Fionn MacCool's in the Sheraton in Calgary, popular spot.

I noticed this place a few days ago and had to stop and think to myself whether it was new or if I had just never noticed it before. Glad to know I'm not going crazy.
Looks like a nice place.

It IS a chain. I've been to three of their pubs - two in Ottawa (The Darcy McGee's on Sparks Street and at the airport) and one in Toronto (In Terminal 3 at Person Int'l).
They're not that bad as far as Irish-themed pubs go, though the beer selection at both airport ones leave much to be desired. The beer selection at Darcy McGee's on Sparks St. was a lot better, though. Hope the same holds true for the Fion McCool's here in Edmonton, though it's pretty much out of my way.
