And that funding comes in if the PC's are back in charge so unfortunately right now until that happens this information really means nothing. What happens if Wildrose gets in?

^My quess would be that NAIT and Norquest would have little to no priority, and Mount Royal and the U of C would have more priority.

^Well, so far the planned delays or cancellations the Regressive Conservative Party is suggesting impact Edmonton much moreso than Cowtown.

So, it's actually a reasonable assumption.

So now the question becomes, will we see these funding proposals and if so, when? I am definitely more hopeful.

rather odd you say that given there is zero...yes "0" dollars in the budget tabled before the election for new Post Secondary capital spend. Of course that conflicts with "Ally" spoke about during the election campaign for Norquest. Go figure.

Not really... if, solid agreement is in place that the money will come in a years time they can start building today with their existing capital.

Much like the city did with the LRT to Nait.

This isn't the city. NAIT doesn't just have 20M it can divert to a big construction project until funding comes through... maybe... in a years time.

its called Credit my friend... and 100% of the cost isn't required upfront.

It just depends on how the funding is promised.
