And that funding comes in if the PC's are back in charge so unfortunately right now until that happens this information really means nothing. What happens if Wildrose gets in?

^My quess would be that NAIT and Norquest would have little to no priority, and Mount Royal and the U of C would have more priority.

^Well, so far the planned delays or cancellations the Regressive Conservative Party is suggesting impact Edmonton much moreso than Cowtown.
So, it's actually a reasonable assumption.

So another year before any announcement is made and then summer 2013 at the earliest for construction to start.

Not really... if, solid agreement is in place that the money will come in a years time they can start building today with their existing capital.
Much like the city did with the LRT to Nait.

This isn't the city. NAIT doesn't just have 20M it can divert to a big construction project until funding comes through... maybe... in a years time.

its called Credit my friend... and 100% of the cost isn't required upfront.
It just depends on how the funding is promised.
