Short Term Storage Space

Hello all,

I am doing some moving in the next month to a new residence. However I am going to require my items to be in storage for about a month. Does anyone have any rants, or raves relating to the specific companies offering storage locker rentals in Edmonton?
For example, sentinel self storage is the one I have been looking at the most....

Sentinel Storage on 99 St and 63 Ave. They are absolutely amazing!

Have you considered PODS? seems like the way to go for moving, I am guessing they will store it for you as well. should save you a tonne of loading and truck time. No personal experience.

I am moving from a house, into a condo. I was seriously debating the PODS concept, however at the new condo the only parking space I have is underground.
As such, I wouldn't have any place to sit the POD while unloading it. The closest location would be the visitor parking which is at the end of the parking lot. That distance would be much too far to haul items into the building.

If moving from one house to another house, it is a fabulous concept though!

Yes they can. But as an apartment dweller myself, I know I couldn't park one of these things anywhere while loading and unloading. It's a good storage option. Perhaps in the current case (house to condo move), the unloading can be done from the back of the pod truck like a conventional mover. The advantage would be being able to carefully pack at the house.
