I love a sunny winter day and it shows the fun you can have in the snow.

Let's get more photos like this.

Those are great photos, but there is more to Edmonton than the downtown area. Lets get photos from Millwoods, Oliver, Castledowns, Rabbit Hill, etc.

^It is a ton of fun, but be careful. It is amazing how many people break their backs (and other bones), doing this, there are often ambulances at the bottom of these hills.

Lived here all my life and I've never seen ambulances sitting at the bottom of toboggan hills.... what a crock.

Do people get injured on the hills?

Absolutely!

Are there often ambulances at the bottom of these hills?

Absolutely not!

I have a colleague who lives close to this hill, who tells me that there often are. It is one of the top injury causes in Canada in winter. I'm not saying don't tobogan, it is a ton of fun, but be careful of the jumps, it is surprisingly easy to break a back bone doing this.

Oh I've seen relatives and friends kids have many an accident on those hills. Broken wrists, dislocated shoulders etc: but every year they are back out there. They are the ones that embrace winter even though they get hurt.

^Just your basic roughhousing or pushing the envelope.
Where there is sports and high jinx there is bound to be somebody getting hurt.

That or getting thrown off it. Multiple people on an inner tube for example is pretty dangerous, with heads and limbs bouncing all over the place.

They're also super fun.

Number four is awesome! I really like the positioning of people having fun with the skyline in the background. It makes it look like downtown or near downtown is the place to be. Well done!
