Boarding houses or hotels that rent by the week/month?

I have a cousin who will be coming to Edmonton on the 16th for work and he will be willing to pay board for a place to stay for at least a month. I don't have room for him in my house. Anyone know of any boarding houses (that are relatively safe - if there is such a thing) or hotels, or something like that, where someone could get a room and preferably access to a kitchen/kitchenette, for a month or so? Prefer North East Edmonton of Fort Saskatchewan as he'll be working at the Shell Scotford Refinery.

Park Avenue Motel in Fort Saskatchewan has suites that rent out by the week and month with kitchenettes, I've heard they're quite reasonable. Newer, in a good area, close to Shell, and I believe the Shell buses stop there to pick up/drop off workers (driving is a nightmare).
