I now regret switching from Shaw, and have signed a 3-year contract with Telus.

My question is about table income and how much money would bring home after government goes though my wallet. I am not looking for exact figures but just approximation on a 50k salary for example.

Does anyone know of some good ones where you seem to get a good amount of time per $1/$2? I've noticed in the last few years that most car washes seem to give you less and less time.

LOL don't say it's better to just wash it at home, I live in a condo so that's a no go. First we are wondering where is the best neighbouhood for a family, but we are limited to the south for my husband not to be too far from his work. We read about Millwoods and it's different parts, do you think it's a good place? We read also about Blue Quill, Keheewin, Bearspaw.. what do you think the place where we can find a daycare,playgrounds, shopping centre, gymclub... next to home?

I rushed to see what was going on, and saw a guy jump over my fence, back into the alley.

Curious what others do about securing their house/condo?

We have an alarm system (monitored, of course) that we always turn on when we're out, or at night, security lights outside the garage and the back door, and a lock on the gate (more to keep the neighbourhood kids from opening the gate and accidentally letting our dog out). We also don't keep things in the back yard that can be stolen. I'm thinking about investing in a nice, heavy bat as well.

There's noxious weeds, knee high grass, partially mown, dead trees, brown grass.
Most recently, they had a basement flood from keeping their rain gutters flowing into their basement sewer system.
To make matters worse their driveway is piled up with spoiled drywall and debris from their flood three weeks ago and it doesn't look like it's going away.
They continously park their two cars at each edge of their property line as here is no room in the garage or on their driveway.

I really miss my old neighbour now!

Never heard of them. The realtor seemed nice and knowledgeable but i wanted to see if someone's had any experience with them... I liked the fact that they have very few properties on their portfolio so they can focus more on mine...whereas others like remax, etc have tons. this realtor in particular only has one house for sale and this could be an advantage perhaps.

don't want to go the comfree route as i'm never home to show it and am too lazy to do all the paperwork, staging, etc.

Anyone had experience with these people? or have heard anything about them?

This construction will continue over the next two months! As such, access to the guest parking and the parkade will be barred until early October.

I am furious. I rented this unit not just for the location (close to the UofA) but also because it included heated underground parking. I still don't know Edmonton well, so I have no idea where to start beating the bushes for a parking spot. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to look? I am near the westernly part of Oliver (124th and Jasper).

Siiiigh....not a very warm welcome to the city. Have already had a few run ins with rudeness of cashiers and people at the Registry...here is hoping that my luck will turn.
