Nice shots... it's too bad those beautiful colours couldn't come in Oct/Nov instead of early September. Oh well.

Great set...you should separate (add a space between) the photos for a better viewing experience...

I'm amazed you can see Inland Cement so well from where you took these.

Edmonton, I think is so beautiful because of how many trees it has. It is in the Boreal Forest region. I travelled to Southern BC (Kamloops, Kelowna, Shuswap) this past July and well, it is beautiful, but I noticed there weren't that many trees. Mainly due to the fact it is desert and semi-arid. Looked pretty barren. Not to knock interior BC.

Pretty pictures!

A few more from the balcony from over the past few days:

(the giant building behind the Camsel in this photo...is that the old ALCB warehouse in St. Albert? I can see it from work too, and it is just massive)

Yep, it is the old ALCB warehouse in Campbell Business Park. I believe Connect Logistics operates the warehouse, since the ALCB was privatized. It is huge huge huge. For comparison, the attached office building which is visible just behind and to the left of the grain terminal elevator is about 6 stories tall.

^ lots of them have the high level, so I'm going to guess you mean the last one?

I don't know how to post the fullsize image here, but you can download it from over here (http://picasaweb.google.com/newfangled2001/FullsizePhotos#5253410213382610514).
