Coming from out of town & I'm going to use the LRT for a couople of days...never have before. How long to go from a downtown stop to the uofa? Is it very busy in the mornings? Thanks!

Busy, yes.

Time, depends on the stop, but longest would be 8 minutes.

but really, any hotel down town is quite close and within walking distance to the LRT

Are you only going to be at the U of A? What's your hotel budget? If you stayed at a hotel on Whyte Avenue, you could walk to the U of A.

There are also likely some bed and breakfasts just off campus.

The Understudy, McLellan House and Exquisite are all within walking distance of campus. The first two are pretty much on campus.
