check this one out:

Notice something missing? Well, Ottawa is also missing, but I am not so sensitive about that.

The map also misplaced New York, Boston, and forgot Los Angeles... problems all over the map.

I don't care about any of that mostly because I am from edmonton and the places you mention aren't even in Canada.

Sorry, my previous post wasn't communicated clearly... what I meant to say was that it's a poorly drawn map to begin with, and I was pointing out the (lack of) credibility of whoever made that map...

Yes, I agree. my post also sounds a lot harsher than I meant it. wasn't a negative reaction to you or what you said. :D

I don't think it's poorly drawn at all.

Are they really supposed to show every major centre? I'd say at some point, the map in question becomes extremely cluttered as soon as cities having a population greater than Edmonton are shown.

...and to show this in a 3" x 4" gif file? We can't be serious.

Sorry grish, I really am not seeing the problem with this map. I'd wager that a place like York University does quite a good job for students from Edmonton considering studies there. I was in that boat not too long ago.
