What are your thought on the new firearm act the Conservatives are bringing out?

Personally it doesn't go quite far enough with curbing the ability for the RCMP to arbitrarily change classifications of firearms.

However everything else about the Act is pretty much where i think our firearms licencing should be. including domestic violence potential bans and mandatory training course.

A step in the right direction, it's encouraging

I think it's a good update on firearms laws.

It forces law-compliant gun owners to be more accountable without needlessly criminalizing anyone.
