If you love Edmonton, you've come to the right place. (Unless specified otherwise, any reference to "Edmonton" in this site almost always refers to the entire Edmonton region -- all one million-plus of us!)

And if you love discussing Edmonton-themed topics /promoting Edmonton... and speaking out to make this the best place in the world to live, work and visit, we want you as a community member. Here you will be able to connect and collaborate with like-minded Edmonton enthusiasts from all around the world -- including many local residents.

Please note that this site wasn't created to duplicate the vast amounts of information about Edmonton that is readily available on Edmonton’s regional web portal www.edmonton.com or all of our Edmonton partner sites. Instead, the root purpose of this site is to connect people who are proud of Edmonton and nurture their creative and collaborative ideas to help this region achieve its vast potential. Along the way, we're going to also change some false stereotypes and create new competitive advantages for our city.

There is no cost to join us. But, there is an obligation of every C2E member to respect the community's guidelines and rules. In essence, this site encourages members to express themselves intelligently and to make constructive, practical suggestions that will improve Edmonton’s image and quality of life.

Acknowledgements

C2E is a self-funded, not-for-profit organization guided by an all-volunteer Board of Directors.  We do NOT receive any funding from the City of Edmonton or any of its agencies. 

Even though we take great pride in our complete autonomy, we are also very gratified by the many influential business, government and media organizations in Greater Edmonton who use and promote our unique, non-partisan public forum.

C2E is maintained by a group of dedicated Edmonton volunteers that selfishly donate their time and talents to this labour-of-love project because they believe that discussion and collaboration are vital to creating a better Edmonton.

The C2E website was created in Edmonton with great pride by Pivit, Inc. — one of Alberta's outstanding design and web development companies.

What's New

C2E is now officially a not-for-profit organization and is independantly maintained and managed by a group of board members and volunteers. All board individuals have been highly involved in C2E since inception.
